Ik dam al sinds mijn 14e. Ben bij een club gaan dammen doordat het schooldamteam van het Romboutscollege kampioen van Nederland werd in 1974. Ben vooral bekend als docent bij de KNDB -cursussen voor damleider-A en jeugddamleider geworden. Drie Limburgse titels: sneldammen 1991, senioren 2012 en veteranen in 2017.
