One way possible for teams tournaments. Suppose 8 teams with 3 players in each.
Teams play to be qualified in next round as second period in world cup of football.
Score of each player is added and the team with best total is qualified.
If equality, new round with less time.
Do you think it could be possible ?
We are actually organising a meeting in engineer school. They are not draughts players. It could be a way to promote draughts via thi formula.

There is no way in the current tournament system to automatically pair players based on a team. So the most practical solution is likely to manage the pairings yourself, and tell the players who they have to challenge and with which color.
