All WFD players with a rating no higher than 2000 are invited to a weekly series of 4 tournaments, leading up to the first ever African Open Frisian Draughts, from 16 to 21 June 2025 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The two best players from each online tournament will be invited for an online finals. In the finals, the winner and runner-up will receive €300 and €200 respectively to cover real travelling costs to Yaoundé, provided they participate in this tournament.

Only the first 7 rounds count for the results. Please continue playing after completing 7 rounds.

Prize money: 1st place €35; 2nd €25; 3rd €15.

If either Jurjen or Moussa qualifies directly in one of the following tournaments, both will be qualified. If this does not happen, a play-off will be held after the last qualifier.

In the first case, the prize money will be split (both of the players €20), in the other case, the prize money will be awarded according to the results of the play-off.

All players are entitled to play in the next qualifiers, provided they meet the requirements.

Jurjen and Augustas already qualified for the finals. If nothing changes, there will be play-offs after the last Qualifier between Krysztof and Menno, and also between Joseph, Guy and possibly Menno again.

Both have already qualified, as has Jurjen Frankena (3rd). Therefore Menno Kamminga qualifies in this tournament. This means that from the second qualifier Krzysztof also qualifies, and from the third qualifer Guy Tatou.
