Bullet is maybe too fast

Thank you for all your responses.

Although I am already familiar with the interface of lichess. I agree with Tim. The single click feature does not remove the ability to premove or the anticipation level. It is even an improvement over the way lichess does it, which allows an even faster sequence which is not even possible in chess. (and draughts might need this advantage over chess if we can call it that way because we need more moves to finish a game than in chess.)

I have also seen the feature: "a single click equals a move if the click can unambiguously be interpreted as move" on more than one other GUI. I also assumed it was not yet implemented here because the GUI comes from a chess implementation (in which this unambiguously is often not the case.)

I also have a bad experience with the autocapture. One program I used that not even show the inbetween moves or animations, so it was just one BOOM and suddenly half of the pieces disappeared from the screen.

IMHO assisted play (auto-capture) should be limited to casual games (and puzzles).

But it's forced! Why is everyone against automating forced moves and let the players spend more time on other moves? This is going to improve the quality of the games!
However, it's not going to be implemented because nobody with the coding skills has the time to code this. Even anti Frisian will not be created any time soon.

I am not sure auto-captures would be an improvement. I remember playing with auto-captures but don't recall having anything for or against it.

However, I think it is essential to have the minimal click GUI implemented. One click should be enough when it defines the moves uniquely. It really deteriorates the experience when it is not the case. I really hate it.

I have voiced my concerned in this other thread: lidraughts.org/forum/lidraughts-feedback/2-improvements

I fully agree with Tim, Rive12345, MI Malacia on this. And if you look at the thread, there is no voice going against that, apart from the 2 developers (or are they not?)

It it time to listen guys.

PS: or should we just call the platform "bulletdraughts.com"?

"I am not sure auto-captures would be an improvement. I remember playing with auto-captures but don't recall having anything for or against it."

I don't know if I've mentioned this before but I strongly believe auto-capturing should not be a thing, I've also previously used a platform that had this and IMO it made things too confusing if there were multiple forced captures in a row.

I would tend to think the same, Tim.
No auto-captures is my preference.

But minimal click GUI, we need.
