This story doesn't make any sense.

Not supposed to.

Classics of universal literature sometimes need commentary to make accessible to unversed people, distant in times and cultures. This piece of poetry in prose talks about the decay of natural environment in modern world, using China as a particular case to represent the universality of its claim. "Once in China there was tigers", a long time ago when the Earth was virgin and unpolluted, and the Natural Order reigned in the Wild. "but there, a car with gigantic wingmirriors sat", there, in that place and time, once innocent, a new kind of being appeared, a car, a monstrous modern machine, "with gigantic wingmirriors", id est, with its eyes, (a metaphor for current ethics) capable of discerning wide and deep, looking behind, to the past (the weight of its own history that lies upon every civilization) incapable to think about the future. "Sat". It didn't need to do nothing, its mere presence was enough to disrupt the Cosmos, as we will understand in the next lines.

The immediate next line introduces us abruptly in the new world, a "minecraft zombie", a misshapen being child of vulgar technology and pollution, "tried to claim his [he's] the strongest armor zombie". It implies there are several types of zombies, this one is an "armor zombie". Each type has a specific purpose in his life, which it has to fulfill, symbol of the overspecialization not only of modern scholars and scientists, but also of the prevalent alienation of common people from their own nature, since we have become just a mere gear of Capitalism (a political irony, communism of socialist China has become state capitalism).

"as he has trouble with Corovirus" The "life" continues its struggle even under a pandemic, against which all the modern technology is incapable of doing nothing, and the pandemic has become another mundane element of Modernity: the misspelled "corovirus" indicates too much familiarity with the term, it's origin (the scientific etymology) has been forgotten, and now is a colloquial word.

"and the army of beetles", the mechanism of protection and regulation of the ecosystem, "witch were big like an elephant", which until then was the most important and powerful thing that had existed in the biosphere (it doesn't matter if the elephant is not the biggest living species of even animal to exist, since it is the biggest land animal, and doesn't disrupt the narrative continuum after "beetles"), "that" (emphasis), through a natural process that before served Life to evolve and adapt (the Death), became putrid and tainted itself, and ceased to exist, id est, "farted".
