I currently receive a red box saying Reconnecting in the bottom left corner everywhere I go on the lidraughts website, resulting in that I cannot make any moves on analysis board, in puzzles, or in studies. I don't even want to try a normal game with the risk that my opponent has to wait while I cannot do anything.

Maybe you have a poor network connection? See lidraughts.org/lag . Orelse you may use another browser. I have faced a similar problem, when I changed my browser from FireFox to Chrome, it worked fine. Hope so it resolves.
