I'm trying to create a battle team with one of my teams. But I don't want my team to play the tournament. I'm the organiser.

There is no way. Either you set the password of the team battle and share with other teams ONLY or you tell your team members not to join that team battle.

make a team called "Team Battle Organizer" and dont let anyone join it but you.
