I know checkers isnt as popular but i thought for sure there would be about 5-10000 players active here.
The problem is that this is neither checkers nor chess, the most common basic board games that do not involve cards you find online. Who ever hears, 'oh look at this draughts game I played'?! I get it though, it sure is interesting.
There are many more chess players in the world, and they are very popular. Lichess is the most popular chess website with a lot of updates, but checkers are much less popular in the world, which is why the number of players is so different.
