From 20 until 26 October, draughts club Hijken DTC organises the 'Damweek Hijken' (draughts week Hijken) which comprises of three tournaments: the World Championship rapid on Sunday 20 October, the 'Autumn Open Tournament' from Monday 21 till Friday 25 October and the Dutch Championship rapid on Saturday 26. All tournaments take place in Beilen, a village in the north of The Netherlands.
