i play Weekly Brazilian Arena and i drew position with a pawn less at the start... :D
lidraughts.org/En4kZAUF/white
can you fix it?
Problem with "random opening" Brazilian
i want to see such a randoms on Polish Chamiponship :D
Here the problem is that a reference to balloted opening is not given in commentary section. If a reference was provided, it would be easier to detect a mistake.
The corresponding opening can be found using the board editor. When a known opening position is entered, its name is shown in the dropdown on the top right:
lidraughts.org/editor/brazilian/W:W19,20,21,22,25,27,28,29,30,31,32:B1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,11,12,14
So this is "11-I: gh4 hg5 ef4 ge3 df4 bc5". When this variation is played out, indeed black has an extra man on h6. Will get that fixed!
Same thing happens in same ballot in Russian.
Yesterday on draughts league tournament another suspicious position happened and I believe its losing in Brazilian version.
Here is the game:

And here is little study showing how its losing:

@dtmylens I agree; that ballot under Russian and Pools is playable: 1. g3-h4 (in the spirit of regular opening 1. c3-d4 d6-c5 2. b2-c3 e7-d6 3. g3-h4 etc.), and because majority capturing is not mandatory, 1. .. c5-b4 doesn't work.
Yes, this position is already lost for white, should be deleted in Brazilian version
Also position 25 XIII is lost for black, F2F4 H8E5. There are 9 of them because you set up Russian table.
Wow yes... same position again just reversed colors.
