Can SCAN in checkers problems have more than one capture path to choose from after my correct move?

(*i mean checkers puzzle). Do I understand correctly that all checkers puzzle on lidraughts.org have been programmed (or should be programmed) in such a way that after my correct move, the SCAN engine should no longer have the option of choosing a move?, but is forced to capture a pawn in only one possible way? Because if after my move that forces the SCAN engine to capture, it has two ways to choose to perform this capture, then the whole idea of a determined path for SCAN that it gives it is nonsensical. Am I right? It's just that for some time now I often come across tasks in which SCAN has two possibilities of capturing a pawn after my correct move. Could someone explain to me the rules for solving checkers tasks on lidraughts.org/?
