No true timeout win

lidraughts.org/XQkvjlCgo83c
I am an absolute beginner. Even though it was close for a win, I lost this game due to timeout. But why would I get a warning that it could result in a temporary ban that I let the timeout than resigning.

Dont worry with those small things. I think at least 50 messages must be diplayed before your temporary ban. I also get certain messages such as "Warning AnonymousNewAccount, aborting too many games will result in a temporary ban".

The ban is temporary for only 5 or 10 minutes. Dont take tension too much.

OK!
How am I suppose to avoid this warning?
And is there a cool down time for the count to be reset?

I do understand some people abandon the game, rather than resigning leaving to this rule.

@AnonymousNewAccount, it isn't just 5 or 10 minutes, I have got it al long time ago and I you keep doing this you get a ban of 24 ours! (or longer)

But I have one of my experience, first ban: 10 minutes, second ban: 30 minutes, third ban: 1 hour

Generally we don't tell people how the bans work specifically or it makes it easier to avoid them.

But in principle it is considered improper form to just leave a game without resigning, everytime you do it you get a warning and the system tally's something in the background when your tally crosses a certain threshold you get banned the higher the threshold the longer the ban. Your tally goes down overtime though. If you a winning and lose intentionally by resigning or letting your time run out that is called sandbagging is and not just rude but illegal.

Best way to avoid this is click the resign button.

I made a computer analysis of the game and found out it was unavoidable that I win in 4 moves. I got stuck at finding the best move for just 17 seconds in a blitz game. In which it was quite literally a bullet game with 3+0 time. I should have avoided this game in the first place. I wish if there is an option in the lobby to avoid blitz games which have <5 time.
