Could someone please help me find a good draughts engine and also provide me a Linux binary for the same.

As for 10x10 International draughts, a good choice would be to adapt Danican http://obrecht.fr/danican/ which is free.

Are you planning to fork one of the lichess bot clients?

Yes I am planning to fork the lichess bot client, but since I already have a fork, will probably just import or create another branch.

The bot API should work in principle, but it has never been tested in a real scenario. So if you run into any unexpected issues / errors let me know, there could be bugs server side.

Coincidentally I put up the lidraughts API documentation last night, in case it is useful: lidraughts.org/api
It is mostly a subset of the lichess API, so possibly some things are missing that you expect to be there. I didn't really keep track of the changes lichess made to the API over the last year.

Thanks! I had seen that last night in it’s initial state (it was still lichess.org and not lidraughts.org). I’ll check it out after your improvements and corrections.
