Over the next two weeks, there will be a second series of official online WFD tournaments, this time in Frisian Draughts classic (20 pieces). From 13 to 16 December, there will be four qualifiers for the finals on 20 December. The two top players in each qualifier will receive a ticket for the finals. The winner of the finals will receive a ticket to the Fryslân Open Tournament from 2 to 7 March 2026 in Frjentsjer/Franeker.

The prize fund for the finals is €490, which will be distributed as follows:

First place: €200
Second place: €100
Third place: €80
Fourth place: €60
Fifth place: €50

The following rules apply to participation:

* Participants must be members of the Team WFD on Lidraughts.org.
* Participants’ Lidraughts rating for Frisian Draughts (classic) must not have exceeded 2000 in November 2025.
* Participants who qualify for the finals cannot play in any subsequent qualifier.

The following rules apply to the tournaments:

* Time control: 7 minutes for each player and 7 additional seconds for each move (Fischer)
* Tournament duration: 120 minutes.
* Only the first seven rounds count for the results.

The following rules apply to prizes:

* For determining who will win a place in the finals and who will receive prize money, play-offs will be held in the event of a tie.
* For determining the exact amount of prize money for particular players, the available prize money will be shared among players in the event of a tie.
* The winner of the finals will only receive the prize money if and when they participate in the Fryslân Open. If necessary, the organisation will offer them board and lodging. If the winner does not participate in the Fryslân Open, they will receive the prize money if and when they participate in another official real-life WFD tournament in the future.
* An amount of €10 will be deducted from each prize to cover the costs of administration and organisation, unless such a deduction has already taken place earlier this year.

* Durée du tournoi : 120 minutes.
* Seules les sept premières manches comptent pour les résultats.

Les règles suivantes s’appliquent aux prix :

* Afin de déterminer qui remportera une place en finale et qui recevra le prix en argent, des barrages seront organisés en cas d’égalité.
* Pour déterminer le montant exact du prix en argent pour chaque joueur, le prix en argent disponible sera réparti entre les joueurs en cas d’égalité.
* Le vainqueur de la finale ne recevra le prix en argent que s’il participe au tournoi Fryslân Open 2026. Si nécessaire, l’organisation lui offrira le gîte et le couvert. Si le vainqueur ne participe pas au Fryslân Open, il recevra le prix en argent s’il participe à un autre tournoi officiel de la WFD dans le futur.
* Un montant de 10 € sera déduit de chaque prix pour couvrir les frais d’administration et d’organisation, à moins qu’une telle déduction n’ait déjà été effectuée plus tôt dans l'année.
