Borussia Dortmund is a club founded in 1909 by 18 people, Borussia means a German kingdom called Prussia, the club signed professional players early, then went into debt and did not go bankrupt because of a single fan who paid all the club's debts. why does the BVB only hire swiss goalkeepers? because of Heinrich Kwiatkowski who went to the world cup because he played well. BVB was the first German club to win a continental tournament. they won the Champions League in 1997.
In 2005 Borussia Dortmund almost went bankrupt again, today they have one of the best players in the world.
