Ah yes, I see what you mean, in the two-column view of the home page. The lists next to a board (daily puzzle etc) get the same height as the board. A dilemma, because full lists look better when they are aligned, but close to empty they look like this and maybe not very pleasing. Possibly there's a better way. Or we could schedule more tournaments :)
