Breakthrough training

Hey all! I am new to draughts but pretty active on lichess, and was wondering if there were any good resources to improving at Breakthrough. If anyone can direct me to some helpful materials or players, I would be very grateful! Thanks.

@Francis920 , here's your solution:

Look at some of the studies of BREAKTHROUGHS available on lidraughts.org
(Also there are some good openings)

It will certainly help you improve your BREAKTHROUGH training. I have seen your Games of BREAKTHROUGH. You play quite well in less time controls but you should try with 10+5 Time Control in the Lobby.

Or, you can see the games of good BREAKTHROUGH players in the leaderboard and analyse them!
(Such as the games of MI @Hela)

If you are at lichess.org and you know well about RACING KINGS or you play it well, it's similar to BREAKTHROUGH.

Thanks,

Thank you both for your answers! I am a top RK player on Lichess, so can spot some similarities between the two games. I will definitely check out the tactics, and will start analysing some top games!

haha I know James, but it still helps that I am pretty top level at RK, the goal is kind of the same

@Francis920 if you want; take a look at my profile/website. I can help you improve at chess and/or draughts if you want. Since you are living in the US, it would have to be via video zoom/video calls. Just let me know if you want to arrange something like this.
