I came here from Lichess.org and checkers is so hard.
Checkers is soo hard
@AKID
I am also a begginer in Checkers! Though, I improved a little in it by playing lidraughts.org/training and from Arena tournaments. Also, the usefull studies are always welcome to learn. Those include: lidraughts.org/study/4Rb667KU by Bumper and lidraughts.org/study/jFKjxOyI by gamer. Also the most great studies are Tjalling's Pre-Course in Draughts lidraughts.org/study/wjt61xXF. You will find the links to next studies on each of them.
It will be also good if some Good Players also advice you! Good Luck with Draughts :)
I guess the main difficulty is that to think of a combination is totally different than to think strategically .
There is no clear target ( a piece is a piece) , variation look quite similar but aren't .
If one is interrested in having some advice or tip , i can help a little
http://gantwarg.net/ (for strong players , in dutch )
toernooibase.kndb.nl/opvraag/keuze1nieuwE.php?taal=1 (you can see a lot of games there, and also search for composition))
minietiud.forum2x2.ru/ (some composition,russian site )
Tjalling's Pre-Course in Draughts is quite meh to my opinion , decent only .
Finding good source for training is quite difficult .
