Frisian Draughts

You may have heard of Scan, the free and open source draughts engine authored by Fabien Letouzey. It is widely regarded as the strongest draughts engine around, taking first place in all recent editions of the ICGA International Draughts Computer Olympiad.

There could hardly be a better occasion for the first Lidraughts blog post than the new version of Scan that has been released! Scan 3.1 contains some enhancements that gain ELO in all variants, but its major new feature is the support for Frisian and Antidraughts. This means that Scan now knows all the variants that are available on Lidraughts!

So, you can practice with Scan by gradually increasing the Difficulty Level as you further proceed in Frisian Draughts. Also you can analyse and evaluate your games by Scan so to get somewhat improvement. I think these all might help you!

Thanks

@HawaiiBlue , if you want to play and practice with Scan, click on the Play with Computer option and select variants: Frisians and select the Scan Level ( it will actually display A.I. level ... ) So you select desired level and play!

If you want to view the scan games, you can go to any good frisian players profile and search games of frisian with opponent computer.

thx, but I mean the games scan played at the Iternational Draughts Computer Olympiad
